Complaints cite traffic lights causing Richmond auto accidents

WTVR-TV reported a number of complaints were filed regarding traffic lights at the intersection of North First and East Grace in Richmond, which are causing a number of Virginia auto accidents.

Two Richmond auto accidents were reported at the intersection in 2007. An additional two accidents were reported in 2008 and then eight accidents were reported in 2009.

There was a Richmond car accident at the intersection over the weekend, which led officials to investigate the number of accidents occurring at the same intersection.

Officials are looking into taking appropriate steps to redesign the traffic lights at the intersection to help prevent further Richmond auto accidents.

Fifty cars involved in Williamsburg auto accident

The Inquisitr reported 50 cars were involved in a pileup in a Williamsburg auto accident on Wednesday morning.

Police stated the Virginia auto accident on Interstate 64 was caused by whiteout conditions due to the snow storm.

There were no reported fatalities as a result of Williamsburg car accident, although seven people were taken to the local hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic was backed up for more than 12 miles in both directions as a result of the massive Virginia car accident.

Williamsburg auto accident kills man

The Virginian-Pilot reported a 22-year-old man was killed in a Williamsburg auto accident on Sunday morning.

The man was driving his car at a high speed when he lost control of it near the intersection of Barlow Road and Rochambeau Drive.

The car went off of the road and hit a tree. The man was found dead at the scene of the Williamsburg car accident.

Driver charged for Norfolk auto accident

Daily Press reported a 24-year-old man was charged for driving under the influence of alcohol when he caused a Norfolk auto accident early Saturday morning.

Five passengers were in the BMW when the driver lost control of his car and hit a tree.

Two passengers were found dead at the scene of the Virginia auto accident.

One passenger remains in critical condition at a local hospital and two other passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries in the Norfolk car accident.

Virginia Beach auto accident, car crashed into house

WVEC-TV reported a Virginia Beach auto accident occurred on Monday night.

The woman who caused the Virginia car accident missed the curve on Summer Lake Lane, went through a yard, hit a house, and then ended up in a back yard swimming pool.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the Virginia Beach car accident as no one was home at the time of the accident.

Lawsuit filed for Virginia Beach auto accident

According to the Virginian-Pilot, a lawsuit was filed against the estate of the driver who caused a Virginia auto accident last November.

The 18-year-old driver was driving his Volkswagon with two teenage passengers when his car drove across the center line and crashed into a van.

All three teenagers were killed in the Virginia Beach auto accident and the driver of the van was seriously injured.

The driver of the van is suing for $1 million and the families of the two teenage passengers are suing for $2 million against the estate of the teenage driver who caused the Virginia Beach car accident.

One person killed, another injured in Norfolk auto accident

According to the Virginian-Pilot, one person was killed and another person was seriously injured as a result of a Virginia auto accident early Saturday morning.

One car was driving on Northampton Boulevard when it was hit from behind by a second car traveling at a high rate of speed. The first car then hit a third car in the Norfolk auto accident.

The driver of the third car was pronounced dead at the scene of the Norfolk car accident and a passenger in the third car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation on the Norfolk auto accident.
