Students sustain serious injuries after Virginia auto accident

Five students from Washington & Lee were involved in a Virginia auto accident.

According to ABC 13, a 20-year-old student was driving northbound in an SUV when he attempted to pass a vehicle in a no passing zone. He lost control of the vehicle, hit a utility pole and an embankment, and the vehicle landed on its side in the Virginia auto accident.

The students were taken to local hospitals following the Virginia auto accident.
