Motorcycle driver dies in Virginia auto accident Wednesday

A Virginia auto accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist Wednesday night after he sped from police, according to the Daily Press.

Reports say the 40-year-old Virginia car accident victim was pulling alongside police cars then drifting back and sped away when police attempted to pull him over for his erratic driving.

The driver clipped the fender of a truck after he sped away, lost control, and crashed into a tree, where he was pronounced dead at the scene of the Virginia auto accident.

Virginia car accident takes man

A 24-year-old man died Wednesday in a Virginia auto accident when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into an interstate jersey wall, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

The Virginia car accident happened around noon just north of Poindexter Street in Chesapeake.

Deaths in Virginia car accidents and motorcycle accidents on the highway is up from last year at this time. In 2006 the number of fatalities was 781, whereas this year on the same day the toll is up to 852.
