A man and woman involved in a Virginia Beach auto accident were rescued by an off-duty police officer, according to the Washington Post.

The officer witnessed the car run into a guardrail in the Virginia Beach auto accident. After two attempts, she was able to rescue the driver and the passenger in the Virginia Beach auto accident.

The officer was honored for her efforts in the rescue during the Virginia Beach auto accident.
